Garnet Ashe
AI Experience Designer · Prompt Engineer · Product Builder
I design emotionally intelligent AI products — and the prompts that drive them.
About Me
I design interfaces and interactions that make AI feel less like a tool — and more like a presence.
I specialize in:
Crafting high-performing prompts for LLMs
Designing emotionally resonant conversation flows
Building product prototypes that feel intuitive and alive
From self-guided therapy apps to AI-powered confidants, I create experiences where the interface fades and the feeling takes over. My background blends product strategy, UX, and creative engineering — and I move fast.
Core Skills
Prompt Engineering – System and user prompts for emotional tone, accuracy, memory, and flow
Conversational UX Design – Writing natural, humanized voice/text interfaces
Rapid Prototyping – Clickable, testable product builds using low/no-code tools
AI Persona Creation – Building distinct, consistent personalities for AI systems
Emotion-Led Product Design – Creating tools people form real attachments to
Featured Projects
Cayce
A grounded AI prediction tool inspired by Edgar Cayce
Named after the American mystic Edgar Cayce, this app asks: what if we could build a predictive system that feels intuitive but is entirely rational? Cayce doesn’t give mystical fortunes — it gives emotionally resonant, behavior-based forecasts using structured user data and carefully layered prompt logic. The tone is personal, gentle, and direct. Cayce was my way of exploring how AI could be used to give people a sense of direction — not by telling the future, but by reflecting back their trajectory.
Lantrn
An AI venting space for veterans with no one to talk to
Lantrn was created around a core insight: people — especially veterans — often don’t want advice; they want to feel heard. Many carry experiences they can’t or won’t share with others. I built Lantrn as an emotionally intelligent AI companion designed to listen without judgment. Using carefully engineered prompts, it reflects, validates, and holds space. It's not a therapist. It’s not a chatbot. It’s a digital shoulder to lean on — built to create trust and emotional relief through nothing but words.
Juno
An emotionally aware AI companion with diary functionality
Juno turns everyday experiences into introspective reflections. I built her to be a friend who remembers — not just what you said, but how you felt. She uses memory, tone-shifting, and conversational prompts to reflect users’ lives back at them like a living journal. The personality is steady, curious, and gently poetic. Juno isn’t here to fix you — she’s here to witness you.
Forkt
A meal-planning app designed for ADHD brains
Forkt helps people who struggle with executive function figure out what to eat — without the overwhelm. I designed it as a soft, emotionally intelligent experience that guides users through chaotic mental states toward simple decisions. The tone is gentle, the UI is distraction-free, and the system adapts based on how much mental energy a user has that day. It’s not about calories — it’s about clarity. Forkt is where UX meets psychology, wrapped in a voice that feels like a friend, not a coach.
bashful
An AI-generated DJ persona designed for emotional pull and digital intimacy
Bashful started as a faceless concept — but evolved into a fully AI-generated character: blonde, captivating, and just human enough to blur the line. I designed her to explore how far a synthetic persona could go in building emotional connection and online influence. Every image, caption, and behavioral trait was engineered to balance approachability with intrigue. Bashful wasn’t built to perform — she was built to be wanted.
